Where our name goes, and where it does not.
Certification is the part of this business most easily got wrong, and the part your inspectors will test first. Here is our position, stated plainly so you can check it against your own procurement rules.
Certification stays with whoever earned it
Instruments we supply as a channel
Hazardous-area and pressure certification is held by the manufacturer and issued in the manufacturer’s name. We pass those certificates through unaltered. We do not relabel a certified instrument as our own product, because doing so would move the manufacturer’s legal obligations onto us and break the traceability chain your inspectors follow.
Tooling we manufacture
Here we are the manufacturer, and the design, the calculations, the material certification and any proof-load testing are ours to answer for. Design files and calculation records are retained and available to you on request for the life of the tool.
What arrives with a delivery

Manufacturer certificate
Original, in the OEM’s name, covering the certified variant actually shipped.

Calibration record
Traceable to a national standard, with the as-found and as-left readings.

Material certificate
EN 10204 3.1, heat numbers matching the marking on the parts supplied.

Test records
Proof load, pressure test or dimensional report where the ITP calls for one.
